Kaia in Frame for Top Media Award
COTHAM: A former Bristol University drama student has been shortlisted from more than 13,000 entries for a prestigious graduate award.
Kaia Rose, 25, pictured, who graduated this year, has been selected as one of the ten finalists for the Media & Arts Graduate of the Year Award, hosted by The Graduate 100, the largest graduate initiative of its kind in Britain.
Kaia, of Cotham, has already received several other accolades including the University's John Lavendar prize, which is awarded to a final year student who has contributed in a particularly significant way to theatre, film or television activity in a technical capacity.
Following a successful placement, Kaia now works for Arthur Cox, a BAFTA-award winning production company specialising in animation.
She worked on their current A Time Traveller's Guide to Bristol project.
Kaia said: "I feel very honoured to be shortlisted in the final ten for this prestigious award."
